PAX RIVER AIR SHOW 3/4 Sep w. Blue Angels & More

The Air Show will be at Paxtuxent River Naval Base in Saint Mary's County on 3-4 Sept 2011.   Its the 100th Anniversary of Naval Aviation, so it should be a good one 

Will update as more info comes forward, there will also be a car show on the air field.

That's a great show.  Count me in.    Ill have a few days of Indy car in B-more then down to the county for some good Aviation.  Kinda miss living down SoMD.  Im sure the Tiki Bar will be the next stop homeward bound.

Have to keep that in mind if we can get a group to go.  Either bad news for the Tikki Bar or we might lose a couple CACC'ers in southern maryland

I very interested in this air show and the Tiki Bar as well, I've heard the chicks flash their boobs at the Tiki Bar. I think that the Mustang Car Show is that weekend as well.

Mustang show is in waldorf at blue crabs stadium.  Airshow is 35 miles south east.  Could do both since both are both days

Is hell freezing over

Sounds good to me since I live there and I can get our fellow southern marylanders, Jim H. and Val to help sponsor.  Lots of hotels either in Waldorf for car show or Pax/Solomons for Airshow.   We can go for Crabs as well, the kind you eat that is   Might be able to get some of the Bowie/Anapolis CACC'ers as well.

What is the best day for the Airshow?
Which hotel would be most convenient?

You know, Waldolf is in this county, right.  I guess when you look at it though, gas vs hotel, not much savings.

Elder once they post the schedule for the airshow we can compare with Mustang schedule and pick.  I would assume you could come down saturday morning for Mustang show, spend the day and then do airshow on sunday.  If they do a car show at the air field like last year, they would want us there as early as 0800

Vic, The idea of staying over has to do with the Tiki bar and avoiding a DUI.
