did this last year...spent the day asking people not to touch the car, not to yank on the windshield, not to try to pull the mirrors off, not to climb on the sidepipes, not to bang on the body to see what it was made of, not to sit on the hood for a photo op, and... explaining what model of Cobra it was...LOL  other than that...nice time...not planning on going this year!

We're looking at having some folks there to keep an eye on the the cars and keep the spectators from messing with them.  The goal is to have them treat the cars like the airplanes.  Volunteers are welcome (and needed) to help out.  I'd offer free admission but the show is free...

I went last year and had no issues.  Really nice crowd.  I'm looking to go again this year.

Well l've got the last organizational meeting Tuesday evening and I'll have any last minute updates then.  Right now the weather looks like it will be beautiful.  It's hard to tell how many cars will show up since a lot of people who say they're coming haven't filled out the online registration which isn't mandatory and it's a free event.  Porsche club could be very well represented since the weather will be good.  Anyone that wants to volunteer to help out in the car area is welcome, just let me know and be ready to show up by 8:00 am.  You'll get a very nice t-shirt - seriously.

The more the better so please come on out and enjoy the cars and airplanes.

I do have the go ahead to work out photo ops with some of the airplanes and cars - plan on bringing your own photographer or ask my brother, Sandy who is an excellent photographer and will be there for the show with his Ford powered Sterling 1963 Austin Healey replica.  I'll be setting it up so see me if you want to do it.

Scott -maybe the same folks that handled that other show are doing the registration.  At least this one does not cost $60.  ::)
