Didn't make the cut  ....have fun guys.  Is it usually best pax advances?  I thought it was raw time in the past.  Going to be tough.  Hopefully someone can't make it and I can sneak in.

Aww come on.  No tears.  Something new this year, it seems. Not really a CACC vs. the World duel. 

More like a 40 driver invitational extra PAX-fest session on Friday.  Rules appears to be minimum three starts in the 2011 season (that's what sunk you, Mike), all but best three PAX (indexed) times dropped, and those three averaged to determine the top 40 PAX drivers.

There will probably be an eliminator round, and then a NCAA shootout till there is only one.

Pretty sure my best 2 PAX times were in the Mustang.  One of them on cheater tires. . . . 

Just goes to show that half the race is showing up.  Cowboy up, come work and you'll get your shot in the fullness of time. . . .

I was genuinely looking forward to it....my schedule just didn't allow me to make most of the events.  I am going to miss the 20-21st as well (another wedding).  Out of curiosity....has there been a minimum number of events required in the past?

I still may come up and watch/work.  I think I would have had a good shot in a pax shoot-out, too.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I haven't heard anything about it. I do have a huge connecting rod from last year that needs to find it's way home though. I think it goes to the first loser.

Dave put the list and selection rules up on Facebook.  Ask Chris. 

Most of the Cobras and usual suspects made the cut, so it would be easy to figure out who gets the rod.

Gary just dropped it off...it should be ready to go with about 500+ hp.

Pretty sure Gary will drive the corvette or a borrowed cobra.  No problem there, since it's pax based.  Doesn't matter anyway as there's still the 3 start minimum.

That list is up.  Hopefully we should be getting some responses soon.  I'd think, in theory, if someone in that list couldn't make it the pool just gets smaller.  If we needed more cars we'd just keep moving down the list until we got enough cars to make things happen (aka, driver #41 gets an invite).

All that being said, I will be there, but Kate will not (has to do wedding stuff, ironically).

If you are not invited, but plan on being in the area, we are REALLY going to need workers for the start.  I'm not making promises, but in the past I have been rewarded with hats and shirts for working, so there is something in it for you.

So for those that didn't make the cut, don't pout - come out and join us for the fun, do some course work, and reap the rewards (shirts or high fives).

Only reason I ran EM at fedex was to stay out of the middle of the hotly-contested XP championship battle, as I had no dog in that hunt.  I'm planning on running XP, and since PAX does matter in this particular contest, I'll run w/o the blower.
