Not an FFR, but similar.... These are maximum motorsports lower arms on the track car. New rules for next year allow us to run a 74.5" wheelbase, compared to 73" last year. This is the start of the do-it-yourself SLA front suspension project. Nothing like running 150+mph on parts you welded yourself

. The MM arms are 1.250" tubes, instead of the smaller ones as supplied by FFR. As such I was able to use the weld in tube adapters, and I used FK 3 piece teflon lined rod ends, 3/4 thread and 3/4" bore. Same 5/8 high misalignment reducers, except Ford in it's wisdom chose to use 16mm lower arm bolts, which is about 4/1000's larger than 5/8" bore. The 5/8" adapters had to be massaged a bit to fit. The mustang runs a strut suspension, so the lower shock mounts had to be positioned and welded in place too...
