Wow, that's a really excellent, though very scary, depiction of how much stuff actually happens in the 15-20 seconds of an accident.A few things that struck me.1- arm restraints sure are a good idea. 2- the FFR tall rollbars look better and better don't they? 3- Since he was wearing some type of neck collar, I would not have taken his helmet off til he was in the ambulance under a doctor's car.Wow! Sure hope all our track guys watch this and build or modify accordingly please.

Wow....   The whole thing took 10 seconds.  Amazing that he suffered no serious injuries.  Full width or double roll bars...  Everything including arms tied down -- Couldn't tell what all the things flying around were -- Lucky that the passenger harness didn't whack him...  After that violent an accident he needed to be examined by professionals and quickly...  he could have torn up his insides with no obvious external injury.

It's always good to see someone come through something like that without anything more serious....

Things flying around....the small chain with a medal was his St. Christopher medal tied to his roll bar. BMW running gear.

Yikes.  I am amazed that the driver's side rollbar clamp harness mount did not fail.

Thanks.

I need to see something like that every now and then to keep my "exuberance” under control..........

Same thoughts I have about every 16 year old driver............they should be required to walk through a junk yard and take a good look at what can happen before they get their permit.

Wonder if that medal is a "single use" item.  If so, the guy needs a new one.

I guess that goes under the heading of do not show to your wife -- or -- show to your ex-wife if she still has a policy on you.

Any further info on what happened?  Did the car behind have video?
