Antique Car Show @ Sully Plantation-June 16
« on: May 21, 2002, 12:34:19 am »
Here's an event for Father's Day. Last year they had many really nice cars in the show, and some pretty interesting ones for sale in the car corral. We should be able to get 10-12 CACC Cobras to go to this event!!!!

The show was good. The weather looked like rain off and on all day but never materialized. Jack, Joe D, and Paul were there also. The place was  crowded in the afternoon so there may have been others I didn't see. There was a yellow/black Cobra for sale in the corral. I've seen the guy at BK but can't remember his name.
Had no problem entering the Cobra and were fortunate to pick up a 1st in our class.
Some guy stopped by and asked if I knew anything about a group of Cobras that appear on Saturday mornings in Vienna. Seems as if we're getting some notariety from the Grease up.

I went to the show in the afternoon.  My Mom was in town so I took her in the FFR.  There were some really nice cars especially the 55-57 T-birds.

Getting in and out of the place was really a pain

I did see Scott's car, but not Scott, and I kinda hung out there for a little while listening to the guys tell there stories.  I did not wear my boots, so I had to leave before the BS got too deep ...
