Hey Scott...Mt. Airy cruise-in
« on: April 15, 2002, 03:04:50 pm »
Scott, your son was asking about the Mt. Airy cruise-in.  Here's the directions:

Take I70 east from Frederick, MD.
Take Rt. 27 north to Mt. Airy.
Turn left at the second (I think) light.  This should be Ridgeville Blvd/Rt. 144.  There is an Amoco to the right as you are coming up to that turn.
Go through 2 lights, the second one is Main St., and then turn into the uphill curving entrance to the right.

Here's a map of the place:
Mapquest

The north/south road in the picture is main street and the east/west one is Rt. 144.  The large building near the top is the Food Lion.  The cruise-in is in their parking lot.

Cruises are supposed to be every first and third saturday evening.  I've tried to confirm this off of the Mid-Maryland Ford Club website but it's not showing any info.

Of course, if you are coming up, please let me know!  :D
