The gallery is open (and how to use it)

    Go to the link above and click on "Add Items" on left

Click on "Add Album" and create/insert a Name and Title for it. ie: "London Cobra Show-Eric's Pictures"

Then go to the bottom and click on "create"

You'll get another screen stating "Album created successfully".

Go over to the left side and click on "add items"

You'll get a screen back with "File" and "caption" boxes.

Browse your hard drive and copy/paste the file name of the photo you want to add in the "File" box.

Type a caption if you want for each picture/file in the "caption" box (optional).

Repeat for each photo....

When done, go to the bottom and cllick on "Add items".

I got this message "For security purposes, you can't use this feature until the Gallery Site Administrator configures a set of legal upload directories.".  I've got more than a hundred photos.  If I am reading you correctly, you must add one at a time?  That right?

no.....once you get clearance, you can add them in groups of 10 I think.

Ok, good news...there's a link at the top for the gallery now.

Bad news, when you go to the gallery it doesn't show the images.

I'm still working on it.  Please don't add any pictures in the meantime.  Thanks!

Still testing.  Looks like my changes haven't fixed anything yet though.

The gallery is fixed.  Phew.  I'm too tired to write up detailed instructions right now but I do want to point out one feature.  There's now a "Gallery Image" button next to the Post and Preview buttons when you are posting a message.  Using this you should be able to link a pic directly into a post now.  No more hunting for the URL and then coming back to post.  There's also a direct link to the gallery along the top menu bar now.

Please let me know if anything's broken and I'll see if I can post some more detailed instructions over the next couple of days.
