Sirs, I would like to invite the members of the Capital Area Cobra Club to participate in a Car Show to take place Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas, VAThe purpose of the show is to show support for our troops in a non-political way by benefiting the Fisher House Foundation. The Fisher House is sort of a Ronald McDonald House for Military Hospitals. Of course with our troops in combat, serious injury is inevitable. Fisher House provides housing at the Military Hospitals so families can be near their serviceman as he/she goes through surgery and rehabilitation.Every cent above operating costs goes to Fisher House. We have no paid positions. We have corporate sponsors paying our insurance and buying trophies. Details are still being worked out on classes for judging, but we hope with involvement by groups like your to get additional sponsorship from area Ford dealers to supply prizes.I am asking each club to consider appointing an event coordinator to pre-register their members and for me to work through.
