Leesburg Cruise-In?

Is anyone interested in attending this event?

22nd Annual Leesburg Cruise-In will be held on June 7, 2008, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM in Leesburg's Downtown Historic District.  Sponsored by the Northern Virginia Rods & Classics Car Club and the Leesburg Downtown Business Association. The proceeds from this charity event will again benefit the C.S. Monroe Vo-Tech Auto Collision Repair course.  This popular event is limited to 200, 1973 and earlier, Classics, Street Rods, Muscle Cars and Exotics.  A modest entry fee will be charged for entrants and a $3.00 per person donation is requested from spectators. A 1950's DJ will be providing the music and most stores and all restaurants will remain open late.  Don't miss this one!  It's fun for the whole family, with old cars in the Old Town Historic District.  Celebrities, Door Prizes, etc.  For more info contact Bob Brown at 571-237-2888 or Pam Colton at 703-759-0783.

a lot of us will be at the Cumberland Historics that weekend.  Why don't you guys sign up for Cumberland?  Gauranteed you'll have more fun than at a car show.

Yes, this is the same event as last year.  I spoke with Pam Colton and she would be glad to have the CACC there.

Last year Joe D got us a nice spot in the center of town.  (It was great fun, but it was a long day) I remember one guy's car caught on fire and one over-heated during the parade into town.  I'll call Bob or Pam Tuesday to see what the deal is this year. If I don't bring the Cobra this year I will go and spectate and hang out.

Hey Tom let me know what you find out.  If I can park next to you and Keri I'd be up for it.  As long as I didn't have to drive .005 MPH and let the engine overheat on the way in.  I'll bring a chair(s) and some refreshment too.

I was trying to decide between the two wheel police benefit ride to Gettysburg or this Cruise-in.  Although cruzin with 500 motorcycles sounds fun, I will be at the Leesburg event.

Count me in.

Do we rendezvous somewhere nearby and arrive as our own rolling thunder?
