I think it was the option to rent rooms "by the hour or by the month" that had her worried.
You say that like it's a bad thing. CACC got along very well with the "by the hour" ladies in Elyria.... 
It wouldn't have bothered me too much but SHE didn't like the idea.
Heck, in the past I've stayed in hotels with that sort of policy and, other than the noise, it didn't bother me too much.
Apparently she has higher standards than I do
(which makes me wonder why she puts up with me...)
