Am I missing something there? This looks like a really good event and it is relatively close for us, this year. Why isn't there more interest in this? Should I reconsider?
Thanks!
It's a great event for Cobra owners. If you haven't been to one, it's definitely worth doing. It's one of the few venues that newbies can track their Cobra without an instructor or the dual roll-bar requirement. Beaver Run is a neat little track and reasonably safe.
However, if you've done a lot of track events, you find that SAAC is expensive and you pay a lot for not-much track time; and the beginner's run groups are filled with imbiciles that haven't a clue what to do on the track.
If your going for the car show, you'll probably going to see more original Cobras & Shelbys than anywhere else on the east coast.
Not sure why other's aren't going, but I've been to Beaver Run many times, and to numerous SAAC conventions.
I don't need to see Rick Kopec again, and I'm saving my $$ for other tracks.
SAAC ? ? ? ? .......
