Harrisburg, PA - August 2-day Autocrosses

Hi guys,

If anyone may be interested, the susquehanna region of the SCCA are having 2 different events in August that run 2 days at the PA Farm Show Complex just off I-81 at the 81-83 junction.  Nice facility and lot, large course, and usually pretty fast.
One event is the PA States evenet on  August 1st & 2nd and the other is Cone killer weekend, the 22nd and 23rd.    For the states, the best time was about 95 seconds last year, and the others are around 50 seconds.  Just thought I would pass it along.

I noticed a two day event on the Central Pa schedule on 11-12 July, is that the Cone Killer Classic?

Right at this time, the answer is no.  They have lost the airoprt and are working out of a very small police training center.  They feel that they have a very good chance of getting the airport back soon, and will schedule cone killer shortly thereafter.  I will post up on here if and when it happens.  The Harrisburg event is always a good time.  They have overnight parking with a guard on site also.

Al,  Pending final FAA Approval, the event is tentatively set for August 21, 22, 23 and the PLAN is for it to be at Mid State Airport.   They will post as soon as they can confirm it.  Hope we can get some of your group up there.

Please note the date change for the second event.  I would go to cone killer over farm show becuase of the competition...
