Since this is in our backyard, Annie & I will likely be going!
Should be beautiful fall colors.

Gaby and I will be there for lunch.  :) We won't be able to make the wineries, though. We'll be in the daily driver because: P9250009.
Thanks!

Our own Doug Wheeler, dcDoug, (needs a nickname) is a Google whiz and has produced maps for both of the Cruise Routes this Saturday.

Take a look....

Scenic Cruise to Barrel Oak:

Cruise via Boxwood winery to Barrel Oak:

Click on the table on the left for turn-by-turn directions. (However, I haven't figured out how to print these yet, so I'll have printed copies on Saturday)

Thanks Doug....(or is it  "Google Boy")  ;D

Make that 29 Cobras.   I think I have a fuel pump issue.  >:(  If I get time before the weekend to diagnose and it is only one of either the electric or mechanical pumps, then I will be back on. Otherwise, I'm in the Porsche or skipping to repair. Haven't decided that yet.

Vic WTB!...you have a redundant fuel pump system, shouldn't it should run on either?

Thanks Doug....(or is it  "Google Boy")  ;D

Wait until you hear what I went through changing my oil pan gasket - broken pan bolt (think it was a flawed bolt, seriously doubt it was over-torqued that much), broken screw extractors getting the bolt out, lots of pain, suffering and drilling out hardened steel screw extractors. Repaired hole and think it's solved, but at one point I was thinking I might have to pull the engine for a frickin' pan bolt  :uglystupid2:......glad I didn't tie up time on your lift with this one! It was more fun doing it on my back under the car anyway.  :crazy2:

What's the plan in case of rain or imminent rain?

10/15/09 UPDATE:

DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE 17TH WE ARE ARE ATTEMPTING TO RESCHEDULE FOR OCTOBER 31. WE WILL CONFIRM THIS SHORTLY. THE 24TH IS NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO SCHEDULING CONFLICTS.

Due to an unforeseen conflict with the Back Street Cafe, luncheon will be at the Red Horse Tavern. Address: 112 W Washington St. Middleburg, VA This is the same place we dined last year. Parking is still in the lot on Liberty street and the Tavern is just two blocks west.

These revisions have been made to the original post at the beginning of the thread: All other details remain the same.

Doug...Current forecast looks bad but we do not have a rain date.
