So do we know if we can bring wives? I never saw an answer to that question....

Doug, of course the wives can come. But they might be shocked at all the older guys re-living their second childhood!!  :uglystupid2:

I am now not going to be able to make this event and have let Janet know. I will send her the car magazines that I have saved up for the soldiers. I will be sorry to miss the event.

Don-

I am very sorry to miss this, but we are out of town.  It was a great event last year.

OK, since I got no reply to my thread, I suggest to get together at Cooper School, say about 8:00 to 8:15 am, to depart about 8:30am towards Walter Reed Hospital.
Hows that Sports Fans??

Sounds like a plan...I'll be posting a map to Walter Reed from Cooper school shortly.

UPDATED 10-07
Walter Reed Medical Center (entrance) is located at 6900 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, DC‎

Directions.

Beltway to Exit #31. MD-97 Georgia Ave towards Washington DC.
Go about 2.5 miles to Walter Reed on Right.

I guess your memory is the first thing to go :crazy2: ....we already agreed to your earlier post about this. Look at the thread.

Yes we'll be leaving from Cooper School about 8:30 AM. Here's the map....

Directions.

We'll take the Inner loop of the Beltway to Exit #31. MD-97 aka Georgia Ave towards Washington DC.
Go about 2.5 miles to Walter Reed on Right. We still need to find out exactly where we will  park on the grounds.

And don't forget....
Quote
THINGS TO BRING AND DONATE

- Bag of Halloween Candy (Candy will be combined and then assembled in Trick-or-Treat bags for the Wounded Warriors)
