Guys,

I want to thank you all for coming out and giving this a try. Now that you have tried it once, lets get another date on the calendar early enough to have a car show and maybe even a corvette smack down of some sort. This could be a blast.

Anyone have charity ideas? I will gladly make a charity event as well. All in the name of fun and friendship.

I was disappointed that we had a wet surface and a delay getting started. I am pleased to hear everyone had a great time.

Everyone that couldnt make it: You were sadly missed.

Ed: I am glad you guys are ok, sounds like your buddy needs some HPDE time. I can arrange for skid pad time if you can get him up here safely.

A special award goes to Mike Chaplin, who in the final melee was gridded last but finished 4th! Way to go Mike. Gotta be a nickname here for you (finally).  "Mine-that Bird" or Calvin Morel come to mind but are too arcane and certainly not catchy?

Also for the "voyeurs" of the club, Small Ball Flanigin took a bazillion pictures. Hopefully he will edit them down to a smaller number of embarrassing shots...like Dervish (or me) getting black flagged....or Protector going into the grass/mud...and many more!

Tinky...all we need is a dry track and some hot Pit-Babes.

Tinky, I really had a great time.  I hadn't driven a real cart since 1963 and was amazed at how much my times had improved by the last race.  Looking forward to driving 550 miles to do it again.  Thanks.

Ed, I hit the same spot, but Porsche Stability Management pulled me out. I was thinking, "Man, I'm glad I wasn't in the Cobra going aroung that corner"
