His best lap was a 1.31....in a Ford GT with no traffic....

It looks like he's could push it more in the turns. Don't the Miata's run in the 1 min high 20's?

Spec Miata's racers run 1.28-1.29 in qualifying. The Miatas there on Wednesday were mostly in my way.
