Our students competed in the SAE Formula and Baja competitions for their Capstone project for graduation. Its fun, but a ton of work. Some schools even designed and built their own engines. We didn't have the time or budget for that.

Thinking about it, by the time you are done you are better off getting an old sportsracer and powering it up with a modern 1000+cc motorcycle engine for B-mod. A-mod is so dependent on composites and huge arsed wings.

Probably, but as long as you are only trying to run for FTD, forget about PAX...

Fluffer -

If the Camaro doesn't work out those look like they could make great bar stools. Also might be good drummer seats for the Rock Band drumset.  8)
