Vintage Track Day at Summit Point
« on: June 12, 2010, 09:24:24 pm »
BSR, the outfit that puts on FATT, is gaging interest for a vintage only FATT (Friday At The Track).  If you have any interest in this, please register and reply to the thread or send Mark Perkins an E-mail direct at mark.perkins@bsr-inc.com  If we can drum up enough interest, this would really be a blast!

Cut and Paste from Summit Point's Forum below - http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=27&func=view&catid=10&id=832

"We are trying to gauge public response to the idea of having a FATT for Vintage cars only, say 1980 or older. Basically it would be for folks who want to get out in some old iron and run some fast laps with an instructor, but maybe don't want to go all hard core all day. Looking for imput and thoughts on this idea. Maybe by the fall or next spring for an event date. Anyone interested? Do you know someone you think might be interested? Please let them know! We are trying to get the word out about this concept to see if it is viable. Shoot me an e-mail mark.perkins@bsr-inc.com or just respond here. Thanks."

I would love to get out there with you Rex.  Please make sure to sign up on Summit Point's forum and reply in the thread or send Mark Perkins at BSR an E-mail.  We've got to get enough people to show interest for them to put on the event.

Thanks, Scott. We're having a lot of fun right now. The cougar is off the road right now getting a much needed freshening. All those track days were hard on it! The Pinto, however, is ready for action! I would really like to get out to Cumberland soon. Headed to the VRG / PVGP historics in a couple of weeks. I'll be running in the U2 Trans-Am Class.
