I was toying with the idea of having a car guy picnic at my rental house in Vienna next Sunday starting about noon. Assuming the weather was nice, would you guys and gals be interested. We have 2.5 acres so there is plenty of parking, a very large covered porch, and a swimming pool. I would furnish the hamburgers and hot dogs and sodas and you could bring a side dish, desert or six pack or bottle of vino. I have to leave early for the autox in Maryland on Saturday but I could drop off some flyers at the VI before I left. We are on old Courthouse road just about a mile from VI. From the back of VI you turn right on Church street and got to the 2nd light and turn left on Beulah and go about 1/8 and turn right on Creek Crossing Road. Follow it about 1/2 mile to where it ends and turn right on Old Courthouse Road and go about 1/8 mile to 8900 Old Courthouse Road on the left. There are two driveways in case you miss the first one. If I get ten or more RSVP's on-line the picnic will be official.
