I got a rock chip on the frostbite run, now its cracked. Looking into Lexan. Any experience?
I have been holding off on the replacement of my cracked windshield as I was waiting to hear how successful you were with your replacement. Happy to hear it went well. I would like to know more about where you bought the Lexan and the saw blade. So update
I did it! it cost me 240 with shipping and 15 bucks for a blade to use in my jigsaw. Easy
Happy to do it for anyone in the club.
First time out and a rock smaked the lexan HARD! If it was glass I'm sure it would have cracked "again " on the first outing. Just a small chip? in the lexan. Im very happy with it.

Scott, Thanks for the link, but unfortunately my windshield is 51.5 inches wide, so the 48 inch panel won't work. I will go with the 60 inch option and hopefully have extra to replace my wing windows.About $160 for 24" x 48" sheet. Check out the Clear Scratch-, UV-, and Impact-Resistant Polycarbonate

So far it’s been awesomeSo the 1/4 inch thickness worked out OK? I 'think' Fred's is 3/16 which caused a bit of flex for some.
