The comparison between the F-35s to the Air Forces F-35s are totally a different breed. One the Navy’s are heavy and range are lacking in the hang time over target to where the AF F-35s are lighter... Which makes them superior in to the Navy’s and The F-35 STOL version. Flying bricks.
The H-60s, i got nothing.
And working for the Navy is just a side job for observing them in their natural habitat!!
Go Navy! Go Air Force!! Just kidding about the go Navy!!!

By the way, I think the F-35s are a waste of money, or just too expensive.

In all honesty, I greatly appreciate and respect our Naval forces. Either under and over the surface, above the surface or over clouds. And I’m glad to serve with to serve with them.

But still, Air Force is better!!! :coolsmiley::coolsmiley:
 
The Golf courses on the AF installations belong to MWR. MWR is an all branch support network for all branches of services. It’s just that the Navy is second rate to the Air Force and require someone who is more responsible to maintain them. And besides the one on Pax River is pretty nice and quite large.
And as for the demonstration teams, ‘Yawn’, they’re okay!

We need a couple of weeks to arrange base access, Navy side that is :cool:
 
Thats my baby, in fact i took it to sea for the first time in 1981 and established the takeoff and landing envelope for it, as an engineer, not pilot. You can't see it but it has a device that secures it to the deck and moves it into the hangar. Also, it has a constant tension winch to assist in landing in high sea states. On our first trip, we hit heavy rolls and dipped the flight deck nets into the water ripping them off. We also had green water coming over the bow. No one does it like the US NAVY
