New Guy

Welcome Caesar - with Bill's old car I can't imagine there is a lot of sorting out to do. 2 cents - take it very easy for a while. Enjoy Rehobeth.

Hi Stephen the Mass-Flo system decided to fry it's brain :-( shortly after I bought the car, converting it over to a Quickfill 600 carb as I type

Caesar - sorry you are having issues, but it seems like you have a plan. Good luck on the conversion, it should be seet when you get it done. Enjoy Rehoboth.
.
BTW - Thinking a 600cfm might be a little big for a 302, but then again I am an EFI guy (well when it works). :)

FWIW...my 302 small block car has an Edelbrock 1406, 600 cfm w/elect. choke and does very well. I paid 250 at Summit racing years ago, and now they want 100 bucks more......the cost of hot rod parts are going up.... :-(

Caesar, was it the original A9L with a Mass Flo intake or the newer Pro-M computer? My A9L fried itself last summer and I replaced it with the Pro-M setup just before the Rehoboth run last fall. Seems to be running OK.

Hi Mike it was the older unit, the car would run fine if a little rich to about 3800 rpm the buck and stutter like it was hitting a hard rev limiter. Long story short after checking everything from the pump forward to the fuel injectors, I just had the system yanked and replaced it with a QuickFuel carb running great
