Shifter loose

I've had a problem for a while now where the shifter arm loosens from the shifter lever. The shifter is a Pro 5.0 (I think) and the arm is just the FFR part. The two bolts that hold them together simply get cranked down and it's nice and tight for a while, but then it loses a little bit of grip and becomes wobbly. I haven't been using loc-tite.

How can I fix this? I'm sure I could use JB Weld to fill the holes on the arm and then redrill them at a tighter tolerance but that seems like a last resort to me. Should I just try some high strength loc-tite? Would bolts with locking knurls on the head help? Lock washers? I'll be going out to the store later today and I'll pick up all of these parts, just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Can you use a longer bolt thru both the arm and lever with a lock nut? As I recall that's how Cindy "no nuts" Keegan got her nickname.

Yeah, I might be able to do that. Trying the loc-tite for now and we'll see if it loosens. Thanks, everyone!

I had the same problem. Used lock washers and that surprisingly didn't work, so I went with Loctite and it has seemed to work.

I've had the same problem with my shifter lever on my Tremec. AN bolts with drilled heads and safety wired took care of it. Here's a pic:
